Safety Manager

Location:  DISA/Ft. Meade, MD

Successful candidate will develop, implement & manage an OSHA compliant safety program for a Facilities O&M Project.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical Safety, Health and Environmental expertise,
• Conduct safety training,
• Conduct workplace safety inspections,
• Investigate mishaps, injuries, & hazards
• Recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance with established national consensus safety standards.

Requirements:

• Four-year Degree in a related field and three years minimum experience in Occupational Safety & Health (or AA Degree in related field & five years minimum experience in Safety.)
• Ability to obtain & maintain a “Secret” Security Clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Experience with DoD Facilities Service Contracts preferred.
