Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL
GCR has supported the Air Force by providing facility operation and maintenance services at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station since 2008.
The Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) is a detachment of the 45th Space Wing at nearby Patrick Air Force Base; located on Cape Canaveral, Florida. CCAFS is the primary launch head of the Eastern Range. CCAFS is also located adjacent to the NASA John F. Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island.
GCR operates as a subcontractor in support of the Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Services (IOMS) contract. This contract supports mission requirements for vehicle launches, range operations and the overall 45th Space Wing mission. GCR technicians provide support in the form of facility operation and maintenance. These services include heavy equipment operation, certification and maintenance; low voltage electrical maintenance services; and civil systems water and waste water plumbing.
