Naval Construction Center Battalion - Gulfport, MS
GCR has been providing outstanding Base Operating Services at the Naval Construction Center Battalion – Gulfport Ms., since 2007.
Description of Work: GCR provides base operating services at Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) Gulfport, Mississippi, the Human Resources Center, SE (HRSC SE), Naval Special Boat Team (SBT-22), Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO) and Naval Special Warfare Center (NAVSCIATTS) at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi.
GCR performs base support services including janitorial, refuse collection and recycling, and grounds maintenance for the Naval Command Battalion Center in Gulfport, MS. Services are also performed at several outlying areas at Stennis Space Center, MS.
Janitorial services provided include: Space cleaning (empty waste containers; low area cleaning; cleaning of water fountains, sinks, kitchen appliances, microwaves and counters; high area cleaning; interior and exterior window cleaning; and window blinds cleaning); floor care (sweep, dust mop; vacuum carpets and rugs; clean walk-off mats; spray clean and buff; damp mop; wax and buff; strip and re-wax; carpet and deep rug cleaning); restroom services (restroom cleaning and restocking supplies); and perimeter services (provide exterior entrance cleaning to exterior landings, sidewalks, plated spaces and designated smoking areas associated with each building entrance/exit).
Refuse collection includes solid waste collection and disposal, and residential and non-residential waste collection. Grounds services include mowing, edging, shrub and hedge maintenance, tree maintenance vegetation control and litter pickup and are performed for prestige, improved, semi-improved and unimproved areas.
