Naval Research Laboratory - Washington, DC
GCR has provided outstanding support to the Naval Research Library (NRL) since 1993 and is currently performing their 3rd consecutive contract at NRL.
The Naval Research Laboratory, located in Washington, D.C., is the Navy’s corporate laboratory and is a principal in-house research and development lab for the U.S. Government. GCR performs transportation equipment management, operations, and maintenance service functions. Mechanics provide preventive and remedial maintenance for over 300 vehicles and specialized equipment, including construction equipment, materials handling equipment, snow removal equipment, and generators.
Other transportation-related functions include fuel procurement and delivery, vehicle dispatching and control, tow truck services, vehicle inspection, title and tag services, shuttle bus operations, trucking services, and vehicle and equipment cleaning. GCR maintains equipment inventory and tracks maintenance and repair of all transportation equipment.
