VIERA, FLORIDA, April 15, 2011 – GCR, Inc., proudly celebrated longtime GCR (formerly Eastern Facility Support Services) employee Mike Davidson’s 20th anniversary with the Company. Mike is GCR’s Director of Business Development.

Mike and the rest of the Pinehurst Corporate office crew enjoyed lunch as GCR’s President Paul Walden presented Mike with an acknowledgement of his service. We extend our congratulations on the achievement of this milestone and express our appreciation for his continued efforts at GCR. Mike states, “It’s been 20 years of friends and fun.”

VIERA, FLORIDA, March 9, 2011 – GCR, Inc., presented the 2010 GCR Employee of the Year Award to Ms. Anita Lopes in March 2011. Since 2009, Ms. Lopes has been a proud member of the GCR Team. Our Employee of the Year Award recognizes her commitment to excellence and dedication to exceeding customer expectations as a member of the team providing Base Operating Services to the United States Navy at Naval Support Activity, Orlando, Florida.

GCR, Inc. Receives Subcontractor Targeting Zero Safety Award

VIERA, FLORIDA, January 21, 2011 – GCR, Inc., is proud to announce Team GCR at Ft. Wainwright, Alaska recently received the “Subcontractor Targeting Zero Safety Award” from our Prime Contractor, Shaw, Inc.

The award narrative states, “While working at Ft. Wainwright under contract with Shaw, GCR, Inc. successfully worked more than 4000 hours without an OSHA recordable, Lost Workday or significant property damage mishap during FY 2010. We extend our congratulations on the achievement of this safety milestone and express our appreciation for your continued efforts in making this Shaw location a safe place to work. “

Congratulations to GCR Quality Control (QC) Manager Jerry Pehrson and QC Inspector Rob Riggs for this significant accomplishment.

GCR, Inc. Announces Contract Award at Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Headquarters, Fort Meade, Maryland

VIERA, FLORIDA, July 7, 2010 – GCR, Inc., is proud to announce the award of the Base Operating Support (BOS) Services contract at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Headquarters, Fort Meade, Maryland. Contract performance begins August 1, 2010.

DISA provides critical Information Technology support for the Department of Defense mission worldwide.

The GCR Team provides BOS services for the entire facility to include; engineering services, Building Automation System (BAS) support, facilities maintenance, HVAC systems, janitorial, and landscaping services.
